As you've read before, I'm a die-hard supporter of On Core's time keeping and invoicing app known as Time Master + Billing. I use it everyday and I don't exaggerate when I say that without it I would lose money, time, and clients. The app is the sole means by which I keep track of billable hours for indigent criminal appointed cases. I believe in it.
I already purchased the invoicing module as an in-app purchase for the app, and use it for billing several firms for which I do appearance counsel work. Suffice to say this purchase paid big dividends the first time I forgot about a firm that hadn't paid an old invoice. Had I checked my Time Master invoices I would have gotten after them a lot sooner about getting my check out.
Having been so pleased with the support from the company in the past, when I snagged my iPad 2 I quickly pulled the trigger and bought the synchronization module. In my opinion, I'm not sure how you can use this app on two different devices and not miss time that costs money.
The sync module is simple to set up. You open the app on both your iPhone and iPad, or both iPads/iPhones whatever your case may be, go to the modules tab, press "sync", accept the action on the other device and it's off to the races! You now have a complete backup of your billables on both devices.
This setup is great for me as I usually enter time in court for a case, and then sync it to my iPhone in case I need to access it in those instances where the iPad is in the car or other room, or vice versa. For example, this is downright mandatory in some courtrooms where you risk a tongue-lashing by the judge for whipping out your iPhone!
I've attached some screenshots of the process below. I hope that you find the module as helpful as I do, and if you haven't taken the first step and purchased Time Master then look at it like this: the $9.99 you pay for this app will be reimbursed the first time you remember to log a 30 minute phone call with a client!
